Just putting together the programme for the 13 weeks after the current schedule expires.
The Navy Lark series I've been playing at 6 pm came to me in 2 packets. I played the last episode of the first series last Tuesday (Feb 9th) and decided we'll take a break from this programme for a while rather than commence series 2 (which is about another 80 episodes long).
So, instead I'm going to play some episodes of Hancock's Half Hour. These feature the Lad himself, Sid James, Bill Kerr and one of Hattie Jaques, Andree Melee, or Moira Lister, and were first broadcast in the late 50s early 60s..
On Feb 16th the episode of Hancock is called "The Idol", on the 23rd it's "The New Car" and on March 1st it is "Cinderella Hancock". The full list of episodes will go up within a week or 2 when I publish the programme schedule up early June.
I read in the Oamaru weekly news-sheet 'The Telegram' that our transmitter at Moeraki has been re-instated. This is good news for local residents, but I can't figure out why neither I nor the local newspaper, the "Hamraki Rag" was notified. The transmitting frequency is still 107.0 fm.
Stay Tuned!
Trevor
